Harriman was dominant on the bump, as the starter rang up 13 strikeouts in Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies's 16-7 victory over Tech High School on Thursday. Harriman gave up two hits and three runs over six innings while walking four. Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies got on the board in the top of the third inning after Harriman singled, scoring one run, Winkler laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Jeffers doubled, scoring two runs, and Muse singled, scoring two runs. Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies scored seven runs on four hits in the top of the seventh inning. Thomas doubled, scoring two runs, Keaton induced Briceno Vega to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Jeffers drew a walk, scoring one run, and Muse tripled, scoring two runs. Manny took the loss for Tech High School. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs on five hits, striking out three and walking four. Thomas collected the save. Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies tallied 14 hits in the game. Harriman, Jeffers, Muse, and Smith each collected two hits for Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies. Winkler and Muse each drove in three runs for Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies. Jeffers led Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game. Briceno Vega and Jeffers each stole multiple bases for Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies. Purdue Polytechnic Varsity Techies stole 12 bases in the game. Manny, Jorge, Keaton, and #22 each collected one hit for Tech High School. #22 went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. B stole three bases. Tech High School ran wild on the base paths, accumulating five stolen bases for the game. Tech High School turned one double play in the game.
