Purdue Polytechnic - Englewood

The Purdue Polytechnic Englewood boys golf team turned in a strong performance at the Indianapolis City Boys Golf Tournament held at South Grove Golf Course, finishing 7th overall as a team while also placing as the top public school team in the competition. Leading the way for the Techies was senior Nevan Jeffers, who finished 14th overall and shot a school-record score of 82, continuing an outstanding senior year across multiple sports. The Techies lineup included: 🏌️ Nevan Jeffers 🏌️ Eric Metzker-Pearson 🏌️ Luke Jaynes 🏌️ Ethan Miller 🏌️ Finley Fischer Competing against many of the top programs in the city, the Techies showed steady improvement and strong team play throughout the tournament. This year’s city championship was won by Cathedral High School. The performance marks another step forward for the Purdue Polytechnic Englewood golf program as the Techies continue to build momentum throughout the season.
